Questions

Everything people ask

Is Adjustly a clinic?+

No. We’re a booking service. We find you a registered chiropractor nearby and book your appointment; all care is provided by the clinic.

What does the £70 cover?+

Your initial consultation and examination. £15 secures the appointment, £55 is paid at the clinic.

How does the deposit work?+

The £15 holds a real slot in the clinic’s diary and counts towards the £70 — it’s a deposit, not an extra. You pay it online only after you’ve been matched and chosen a time.

Why is it cheaper through Adjustly?+

Our partner clinics hold new-patient slots for us and agree a fixed £70 rate for them — that’s the partnership, not a cut-down appointment. You get the clinic’s full consultation and examination; the rate is simply agreed with us in advance.

Refunds and reschedules, in detail?+

Reschedule any time, as often as you need — the £15 moves with you. Cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice and it’s refunded to your card, usually within 3–5 working days. Cancel inside 24 hours or miss the appointment and the deposit covers the reserved slot. If the clinic cancels, you get a full refund and we rebook you first.

How do you check clinics?+

We visit every clinic in person before it joins, verify every chiropractor on the GCC’s public register, and read the reviews properly — including the bad ones. One clinic per area.

Is chiropractic regulated in the UK?+

Yes — by statute. Chiropractors must be registered with the General Chiropractic Council to practise. Chiropractor is a protected title, and the register is public: gcc-uk.org.

Which clinic will I be seeing?+

We’ll tell you the clinic’s name and address before you pay anything.

What if I want a different clinic?+

We work with one clinic per area, so we can’t offer a choice of clinics. If our partner isn’t right for you, you’re free to book anywhere — nothing is charged until you confirm a time with us.

Is the booking assistant a real person?+

The first call or text is automated, and it tells you so. You can ask for a person at any point and one of us will take over.

What happens to my information?+

We use your postcode and contact details to make the booking, and share them with the clinic only to confirm your appointment. Full detail in our privacy policy.

Do I need a referral from my GP?+

No — you can book directly.

What if none of the times work?+

Tell us when you can do and we’ll go back to the clinic.

How do I complain?+

Contact us first and we’ll put it right where we can. Complaints about care itself go to the clinic, and can also be raised with the General Chiropractic Council. Concerns about your data can be raised with the ICO.
